 The grinding media which are made of ZrO₂ + HfO₂(>94.3wt%) and Y₂O₃ (5.1~5.3wt%) have a specific gravity which is greater than 6.0g/cm³, outstanding wear resistance and is free from contamination.

 High density media allow higher product feed rates to be used in wet milling process. Media roundness and narrow size distribution result in the most effective energy transfer from the rotating agitator system to the media.
